A ceramic plate inspired by the Disney Studios musical masterpiece "Fantasia" (1940). Featuring a stunning burgundy and beige pattern titled "The Milkweed Dance," the design was created by iconic Disney Studio artist Gyo Fujikawa. The dishware was released in 1940 by well known American ceramic company Vernon Kilns, and bares their stamp and copyright on the underside of the plate. Vernon Kilns utilized the talents of the Disney Studio artists to ensure their dishware captured the immaculate beauty of the film. Measuring 9.5" in diameter, the ceramic plate is in very good condition with light wear from age.
